International week for children with leukemia in Ankara, Turkey, which was held between
May 28th and June 6th- organized by Association LOSEV.

Amra Zuka, desetogodisnja djevojcica izlijecena od posasti zvane leukemija je ove godine (zajedno sa svojom majkom) predstavljala
Udruzenje "Srce za djecu koja boluju od raka u FBiH" i Bosnu i Hercegovinu na Medjunarodnoj sedmici djece koja boluju od leukemije
u Ankari, Turska koja je odrzana od 28.05-03.06.2005.g.
Amra Zuka, ten years old child, who was healed of terrible disease of
leukemia, was this year an representative (together with her mother) of the Association "The heart for the kids with
cancer in FBiH" and of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the International week for children with leukemia in Ankara, Turkey, which
was held between May 28th and June 6th.
Zahvaljujemo se Asocijaciji LOSEV na pozivu da i ove godine (kao i u prethodne dvije) prisustvujemo zajednickom druzenju
sa zeljom da animiramo javnost na postojanje i potrebu za borbom protiv svih oblika malignih oboljenja kod djece.
We would like to to express gratitude to the association LOSEV for an
invitation for us to be present again this year (like in previous two) at the joint gathering with the wish to animate the
public on the existence and need for the combat against all kind of malignomas that children might have.
I u Bosni i Hercegovini su odrzane slijedece humanitarne akcije tokom navedene sedmice:
Predstavnici Udruzenja su posjetili Hematoonkoloska odjeljenja u Sarajevu i Tuzli i urucili nasim malim hrabrim
borcima igracke i slatkise.
Also, in Bosnia and Herzegovina was held the following humanitarian
actions during mentioned week:
Representatives of the Association visited Department for Pediatric Haematology
and Oncology at the Sarajevo and Tuzla Clinic and gave some gifts to the children such as sweets and toys.
Tokom medjunarodne
sedmice djece koja boluju od leukemie, predstavnici Udruzenja su posjetili Univerzitetsko klinicki centar u Sarajevu,
Pedijatrijsku kliniku, onkolosko odjeljenje (02.06.2005.g.) i Univerzitetsko klinicki centar u Tuzli, hematoonkolosko odjeljenje
(08.06.2005.g.) i tom prilikom urucili prigodne poklone (igracke i slatkise) nasim malim hrabrim borcima- oboljeloj djeci
od leukemije i drugih malignih oboljenja.
During the International week of children with leukemia, representatives of the Association have
visited Clinic in Sarajevo (02.06.2005) and Clinic in Tuzla (08.06.2005) and handed over certain gifts (sweets and toys)
to our small brave fighters- cancer sick children.

The letter we received from LOSEV:
International Week for Children with Leukemia (IWCL) will realize in a month. As you
have already been informed at our previous email (including an Event Organizing Pack), this year we are expecting IWCL to
be celebrated also at all over the world with various activities. The main event of IWCL will realize at Turkey with the
participation of leukemic children from all around the world including Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The initial purpose of the activities is not fundraising but increasing world’s public
awareness on the childhood leukemia and other cancer incidences. Therefore
any activity of yours will contribute to all of ours foremost important aim which is to provide children a healthy and prosperous
future. You may run various activities for IWCL; panels, press conferences, media releases, marchs,
parties, official visits, visits to Pediatric Hematology departments at Hospitals, producing posters/leaflets etc.
Through such international co-operations we can prevent most of the childhood leukemia
cases at all around the World. We hereby kindly repeat our request for your response to our call for such an activity in your
country. We are looking forward to hear of your opinions.
